Harmonyca Filler

Restore youthful structure and radiance with the revolutionary Harmonyca Filler at our Chiswick Clinic. This advanced hybrid dermal filler combines hyaluronic acid for instant volume with calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) to stimulate collagen production for long-term skin improvement. Developed by Allergan, Harmonyca™ is one of the most advanced injectable treatments available, offering both a visible lifting effect and lasting rejuvenation.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Harmonyca® is a dual-effect hybrid injectable that offers two distinct benefits: immediate elevation of the skin and long-term collagen stimulation. Whether you’re addressing volume loss, skin laxity, or general signs of ageing, this hybrid filler treatment is an exceptional option for full-face rejuvenation.

The Chiswick Clinic approach to Harmonyca™ filler treatments

At the Chiswick Clinic, Dr. Bela offers personalised Harmonyca treatment plans tailored to your facial anatomy and skin needs. This isn’t just another filler treatment – Harmonyca® is a dual-effect hybrid solution that requires medical precision and extensive experience. Because it stimulates collagen production in the skin, patient selection, injection technique, and aftercare are all crucial for delivering superior, natural-looking results.

What makes Harmonyca™ a new generation of filler?

Harmonyca is a new kind of injectable filler that works on two levels. The hyaluronic acid component provides an immediate lift, smoothing out lines and wrinkles and restoring lost volume. Meanwhile, the calcium hydroxyapatite particles trigger your body to stimulate collagen, promoting collagen synthesis for firmer, more resilient skin over time. This blend of fillers and calcium hydroxyapatite is what defines Harmonyca® as a hybrid filler.

Is this treatment right for everyone?

Not necessarily. In Dr. Bela’s extensive experience with facial aesthetics, Harmonyca™ is highly effective but not suitable for everyone. It is contraindicated for patients with autoimmune conditions, whether active or in remission. Common autoimmune disorders include Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus (SLE), and multiple sclerosis. A comprehensive consultation is essential to assess your skin condition, medical history, and treatment goals. Only after this evaluation will a personalised treatment plan be recommended.

Where and how is Harmonyca® injected?

This filler injectable is most commonly used in the mid- and lower-face areas, such as the cheeks and jawline, to target volume loss with skin laxity. Dr. Bela uses a fine cannula to inject the product into the subcutaneous layer. Staying in the correct tissue plane is vital to maximise the effects of Harmonyca and avoid complications.

The presence of lidocaine in Harmonyca® ensures greater patient comfort during the injection process. The product is then gently massaged to distribute it evenly, encouraging the tightening effect and integration into the tissue.

What should I expect after the procedure?

The recovery is smooth with minimal side effects. Some patients experience mild bruising or swelling, which resolves within a few days. However, following treatment, aftercare is critical. Dr. Bela instructs patients to massage the area twice a day for 3–5 minutes for a full 7 days. This routine ensures even distribution, full product integration, supports collagen stimulation, and contributes to a more youthful and natural look.

How long do the effects last?

Thanks to its dual-effect hybrid formulation, Harmonyca dermal filler offers both immediate lift and long-lasting skin improvement. The hyaluronic acid offers instant contouring, while CaHA supports the skin’s internal scaffolding through the generation of new collagen. On average, the effects can last up to 18 months or even longer, depending on individual factors such as age, skin condition, and lifestyle.

What sets Dr. Bela apart in delivering Harmonyca®?

Dr. Bela has decades of experience in aesthetics and dermatology, including pioneering mole-mapping technology and skin health education. When it comes to injectable rejuvenation, his focus is always on safety, natural results, and scientific precision. His Harmonyca™ approach integrates careful planning, conservative dosing, and anatomical expertise to enhance the side of the face or target deeper wrinkles and volume loss.

His extensive training and continuous commitment to evidence-based practice make Dr. Bela one of the few practitioners in West London delivering Harmonyca® with lidocaine safely and effectively.

Why aesthetic patients should consider a mole check?

Over the years, Dr. Bela has identified multiple melanomas on aesthetic patients—often in areas they hadn’t noticed themselves. In one notable case, during a Botox consultation, he spotted a small but suspicious lesion on a patient’s forehead. When reviewing previous treatment photos, it became clear that the melanoma had gradually developed over time, becoming increasingly visible across sessions. Despite its small size, the lesion was already an early invasive melanoma—but was thankfully detected in time. This case is just one of several examples highlighting how melanoma can remain hidden in plain sight. For this reason, Dr. Bela now offers a discounted mole check for all existing aesthetic patients, making it easier to combine cosmetic care with life-saving early detection.
